If you're in the US/CANADA/MEXICO your books have already begun to be shipped out from New York, and if you're in the UK/EU/ASIA, they should begin shipping out early next week from England. This project could not have happened without your direct involvement, so I want to say THANK YOU for your support along this homeric, cyclopian, epic journey! June Update: Books Arriving Soon + New Trojan War Art + Orpheus Gets Animated?

Hey all!
Hope the summer is treating everyone well! dont forget to run through your sprinkler and flag down the ice cream truck on these sunny days.
Not much news to report on the hardback books, as they are still in freight transit from China. They should be landing in the next 2-3 weeks, and then we can start shipping them out of the fulfillment centers. Thanks for your patience! I can't wait for you to receive your copies and hear your thoughts on the book.
A couple of updates on other projects: I'm making really good progress on the Trojan War Cycle. I've almost finished Chapter 1: The Cypria, and the next chapter will be the Iliad! Woohoo! Can't wait to dive into this classic war epic by Homer. I'm planning to go pretty dark, even horror-ish, for the war scenes, so stay tuned!
And one more special announcement: in my free time in the evenings, I'll start writing a script and creating a storyboard animatic for a 30-minute myth adaptation to pitch to animation studios for a potential animated streaming series. Im envisioning it in 3D animation (like Arcane or Blue Eye Samurai), and, with limited budget and help, it will be a slow-burn project. I want to keep my illustration DNA intact for the 3D animations, so i will first need to create a style guide for the illustration-to-3D process, as well as the 30-minute story script, and the overall pitch doc for the series.
Lots of exciting stuff to come! I've always been a big film, animation, and gaming nerd, so I can't wait to dip my toe into cinematic storytelling. I've been wanting to direct something like this for ages. :D
Here's a prelim sketch I did of Orpheus that will inform a 3D model of him as we begin to build him up. Something in between a LAIKA character and Corpse Bride, maybe? I see him as younger than other Greek heroes- maybe 23 years old. And thin, almost waifish. The OG emo artist.

Books Leave China June 6th - Fulfillment Update + Trojan War Cycle art

Hi All,
Quick update: We hit a couple roadblocks in May for the freight logistics, postponing them shipping out. the books are now leaving China on June 6th. From there, they'll be making their way to fulfillment centers in the US and UK, with arrival expected in late July. Once they're received and processed, shipping to your door begins.
I know it's been a longer road than any of us wanted. Logistics as an independent artist; coordinating freight, customs, and warehouses across multiple countries turned out to be more complex than anticipated, but we're through the hard part. The books are printed, they're gorgeous, and they're finally leaving the printer for freight shipping in a few days. Woohoo!!
Thank you for sticking with me. Can't wait for these to land in your hands.

📦 Good News — Multiple Book Shipping Now Be Handled Automatically! (No add-ons needed.)

Hey everyone — quick update on shipping!
After speaking with our BackerKit team, we have updated our shipping setup to automatically calculate the correct shipping cost based on your total order weight. This means if you ordered more than one book, you DO NOT need to manually click any add-ons for shipping fees. BackerKit will now charge a small additional amount automatically based on weights when cards are processed on May 8th — no action needed from you.
The additional charge is based on the actual extra weight of your order, not a full second shipping charge. It will be a modest incremental amount. here is the cost table for multiple book orders:
